40 years Greek Puppet Theatre!

What we'll watch this year?

But... I am a Bear, by Frank Taslin Εκτύπωση
Μα... είμαι μία αρκούδα
March, April

A bear listens to all the signals that winter is coming and falls to sleep in the woods. But in the spring it wakes up in the yard of a factory. The trees are cut, the forest no longer exists. The bear stands suprised when she hears a voice yelling to it: go to work immediately, you lazy!. "But ... I am a bear" the bear replies, etc., etc.
This is the beginning of an amazing story given by the most imaginative performance of the "Greek Puppet Theatre".

For children of all grades of primary schools and infants.
Duration: 50 minutes.
Performed with dolls of various kinds and various scenic ways.

The show can be a great opportunity for teachers and parents to discuss with children about issues such as: Environmental and ecological destruction of the planet, protection of flora and fauna. The play deals with these issues.

Welcome!
Welcome to the place of fairy-tales and dreams, to the world of puppet theatre. Ladies and Gentlemen, dear children, in here giants and elves, fireflies and Sirens, brave and humble ones, evil spirits and wise old men are waiting for you. We are all children, we all feel nostalgic for our dream journeys of our childish years.

The "Greek Puppet Theatre" works for these dreams not to be lost, not to be faded out even through machines like this you have in front of you.

New season 2010-2011 Εκτύπωση

Dear Friends,

The puppet theatre in Greece I think is in its best. New talented puppeteers with their own personal view create new troupes that along with some old ones create a very interesting landscape of subjects, performances and animation.
Teachers and parents must keep looking for good performances and reward them with their choice.
The "Greek Puppet Theatre" presents for another year a rich and alternating repertory with performances for children as well as for adults, because we should not forget that puppet theatre is not just for children.
